Estima Help!

Hi There

I have a 2002 Estima that just arrived from Japan. Not driving (in so far as it cuts out after about 50ft). There is a red warning light on the dash that looks like a car with an exclamation mark thought it. Someone has suggested that this is the Battery pack warning light.

If the Battery pack was drained, what symptoms would I see? I have mixed responses so far. Some places I've found say it would run fine on petrol until the pack was charged. Others have said when speaking to them, that the car would cut out, and there is a 'chicken and egg' scenario where the car wont run until there is some charge in Battery, and the battery wont charge until the car gets a good run

Anyone out there with some experience in this?

Regards

Ken
