started going mountain biking with some mates from work, nothing deadly serious and i dont have a particularly good bike but its a good laugh.

so last weekend we went to sherwood pines, did about 17miles although my knee started playing up toward the end.

heres a vid from the day, best if you watch the HD version and watch for a flying dwarf

Excellent stuff Lee.

I go mountain biking ( although not as often as I'd like ). It's great fun and great excercise.

Had some spectacular rides and some equally spectacular crashes - there's a hillside in Yorkshire that still contains part of my collar bone. I've obviously calmed down a bit on the downhills since then, but it's a great way to spend the day.

Good stuff Dawesy.... I go riding around the local area here as have access to bridal ways and some good tracks.... I came off spectacular style, 2 weeks ago.... Was riding a bit close behind a mate when he suddenly stopped to turn right... I slammed the brakes on to miss him... and as my bike has hydraulic disk brakes.... it stopped dead... I however did not and went over the handle bars... and landed smack onto the hard shingle track.... still have a soar left elbow.... My mates however say their sides still hurt from all the laughing..... All part of the fun of Mountain Biking.....

ouch and ouch.

yeah ive really got into it, just need a better bike really.

i love down hills all apart from the uphill bit to get to them.

we often go to cannock chase, some very good trails round there and we went to llangolen near wrexam in march. that place is awsome, some great views, at 14 miles long its a good distance but that just means you can have plenty of stops to enjoy the view

We'll have to start a spin off TOC Mountain Bike Group.... Organise a meet near some good bike tracks and have half talking cars the other half eating dirt and flies... spinning along the tracks....

All I can say is thanks to the Cycle to work Scheme   Made a lot of people at work get nice mountain bikes to cycle to work on   :D :D :D :D I got a nice GT for the privilege....
