Tte Exhaust On Ebay

Hi all.

I have only recently bought a 2002 Rav 5 door and have bits of the old Cat stuck and rattleing in the exhaust system.

I posted already about this and been advised that only way to remove the bits is to take exhaust apart.

I was near the garage that changed the cat and thought id pop in and ask them if they would do it as I think its down to them.

They told me that its impossible without changing the exhaust system as the bits are stuck in a certain part of the exhaust?? This will cost me £150.00!

Anyways, there is an TTE Exhaust on eBay. I'm no expert but would this fit on my car although it says 3 door?

Would be nice to get the problem sorted as the rattling sound is annoying and embarrassing .

If its not suitable then I am sure someone will find it usefull

NO it wont fit, it is a different part number for the 5 door model

Can you recommend somewhere to buy new exhaust or is it down to the garage that replaced the Cat to sort the problem?

I read somewhere that it should have been removed from both ends to avoid bits falling in the exhaust system but I am not sure how true this is.

That exhaust would have been so sweet on my 3 door...still ,all water under the bridge now :(

I was bidding on it anyway but wasn't sure if it was worth me getting on the chance I could have it made to fit my car.

Also I was thinking of buying it anyway incase someone here with a 3 door might have wanted it.

Wish I did now as you prob would have paid that for it too.

I would have loved one a few year back when i first got my RAV4 but as i'm selling it on soon it all a bit late, i always looked with envious eyes at the TTE twin piped exhaust system.
