Curisoty On Turbo Times And Where To Get One

I am about to enquire into buyin a 1.5 RS Vitz turbo after owning my 1.5 Tsport for 2 years.

My tsport has shocked me with the speed it will push out beating all of its competitors if driven properly and hard enough, but i want to know whether its worth getting the turbo version or just getting something a bit bigger, i hear the rs is rather slow and the starlet which is only 130bhp 1.3 turbo is superior to it, i find it hard to believe a 130bhp starlet 1.3 will beat a 1.5 160bhp turbo standard as the yaris was meant to be the big brother to the starlet....

Anyone know the 0-60 ACCURATELY on the Rs 1.5 turbo and how much they are to buy and where i can get 1? Message in here asap, dont PM

Check the yaris thread, you have to get them imported and cost a bomb and wont pass an MOT due to emissions/wont get a VSA! Thats why they didnt sell them in the UK.

If your after more power on the yaris, buy a supercharger and get it properly set up with a E manage or equivilant. Your looking around 150bhp and with a full exhaust system aswell they see off 2 litre clios!

If your after more info check the yaris club uk and ask a guy called matty as he runs one!

150bhp in total so a gain of 45bhp with a supercharger fully mapped with full exhaust system

Doesnt sound alot but gives it a very good bhp/tonne against other small warm hatches!

Fairly respectable "third again -ish" increase in power, and I'd imagine a bucket load more torque.

The supercharger kits cost 2000 before we start and thats **** pathetic, mates got a supercharger, isnt the same without that dumbvalve feeling, and how much is a bomb? i saw one being sold for 5.5k i aint paying nowhere near that i was hoping from 2-3 thousand and id be happy to offer my yaris up for a part ex, and i am after power but the turbo is meant to be 160bhp im still not amused by the performance seens as a 1.3 starlet is meant to be exact same and thats a lil !Removed! car imo :) and i cant figure out these **** yaris pages scuse my french just baffled :P
