Headlight gone on the driver's side but can't see where to open it up and replace it :( Any ideas anybody? Some pics would be great!

A friend of mine also said to me that I only have one high beam bulb working. I read up on it and it turns out that you only get one to start with anyway!!!

Many thanks.

Hello and welcome to TOC

It is most likely the answers to your questions can be found in the Owners Manual that your dealer should have supplied with your new IQ.

If there is not an Owners Manual with the car then may I suggest a trip to said dealer ;)

Ok you need to remove the washer bottle neck from its position, will probably need a screwdriver of some sort

There will be a circular piece of plastic behind, you need to rotate it anti-clockwise to get it off.

The light housing is behind there which you need to rotate and pull out, remember don't touch the new bulb your going to put in there with your bare fingers

As for the main beam, both my lights have main beam so dont understand what you mean there.

Its just a friend of mine said they read somewhere that Toyota fitted only 1 high beam bulb to save money and whatever else. I beleived them at first but had a look and they were wrong. But I did drive up to a wall with my headlights on, flick the main beam on and off and few times and it looks like there is a flap or something in the bulb that flips up when you pull the stalk. Fascinating lol
