Aftermarket Speakers

Was thinking about getting some form of new fangled speaker system for the Yaris, I find the standard Speakers a little buzzy at high volume, anyone reccomend a good set that would fit a '99? I don't particularly want to spend alot of money, but don't want a cheap and nasty system, so middle ground would be good.

Not sure if the GLS has dash and door Speakers. You need to check what you have.

If you plan to run the Speakers off a headunit and not amp them I would go for the Alpine SXE range. They are designed as OEM replacements and work well run off a headunit.

For door Speakers get Autoleads speaker adapters part number SAK-2914 and you can fit 6.5" speakers.

For direct replacement of the speakers:

Or you can get components, remove dash speakers and mount the tweeters where the dash speakers were:

Would also recommend a bit of sound deadening. Even just a speaker kit will help.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have a fairly high end Pioneer stereo already fitted (see photo), same advice bearing that in mind Nick?

The GLS has dash and door Speakers. What about Speakers for the parcel shelf?
