Start with daylight and your wheels pointing straight

1. Underneath the horn and the middle spoke is a screw .. undo it.

2. Now prise the horn part off .. removing the horn wire

3. There will be a nut in the center on a bolt - loosten it, but DO NOT REMOVE !!

4. Pull the wheel sharply towards you - if you have undone the bolt, not loostened it - you will now have a broken nose.

5. Put on the boss on straight and re-do up the nut as tight as you can.

6. Now screw in the 6 bolts through your wheel into the boss.

7. Connect the horn wire to your new horn and re-fit ..

Not go out and drive, test the horn and re-tighten the main nut.

drive about without tightening the nut first ??

err think he means that after uve tightend it as much as u can, u drive it. This will make the wheel settle a bit, and so when u retighten it... it should go a turn or so more

or u could get a torque wrench and tighten it up to factory specs....

Yes because there is a chance that you might not have put the wheel on straight.

Definately - I did it once with my Dad's old Volve (we fitted a completely new interior inc. Dash etc.) Steering wheel went on very wrong, it was funny watching him drive it. I thought about leaving it for a bit, but felt sorry for him in the end and put it right :)

We need more of this, clear, and concise instructions. If you wrote a service manual, it would probably be no longer then five pages :)!

simplifiction is the key.

haynes manuals are massive and go into some right detail - but they never tell you how to remove that sheared bolt! :D
