L4d Developer Console Fun

[KPARRIS-JONES]

In the main menu, go to options and enable the Developer Console for in-game use.

When in a game, bring up the console with ¬ and it should pop up and pause the game.

Before you can use cheats, you must type ; sv_cheats 1

Here are some good cheats

God mode = god 1 (press enter and then type) god

sv_infinite_ammo 1 (Have a guess at what that does)

z_common_limit 1000000 (There will be hundreds of zombies everywhere!)

tongue_range 20000 (This enables the smoker to get you from the other side of the map!)

give_pistol

give_autoshotgun

give_smg

give_rifle

give_huntingrifle

kill (Kills you and everything)

z_spawn tank (will spawn a tank in your crosshair. You can do this with the witch, smoker, tank, hunter, boomer and normal zombies)

z_spawn mob (This is epic)

director_force_panic_event 1 (simlar to mob)

noclip (allows you to go through the map and stuff)

boom (Spawns a live pipe-bomb underneath you)

fire (Similar to boom)

give_gascan

give_propanetank

give_oxygentank

Been playing with this for a while. Once you have exhausted the game itself can have some serious fun with the console commands :D
