And i'm stuck revising for exams, waiting for my Aygo+ to be delivered sometime next month. -_-

I could be using the nice weather to drive or wash it or something if I had it. Must be the BEST DAY to go and pick up a new car!!!

Perfect weather to test it all out.

And it will probably be a really nice evening, my favourite time for driving :(

I hope the summer brings some nice weather for driving :driving:

We are about due for a good one,the last couple have been awful.

Just been for a spin-let in mine,it was like an oven inside so left the windows open for a bit (why no passenger window control on my side?) and then on with the air con.----brilliant.

Ain't had a car with air con before so really happy with this one, what a difference it makes when it's scorchio.

Good luck with the exams, why is it always sunny when you have to revise. :ffs:

Really nice weather here too :)

Been out in the garden all morning - the dog is roasting, bless him!

Yeah, i bet the AC makes all the difference today too.

I've never had a car with AC so I can't really say I would be that bothered about it yet. I guess it's one of those once you have it, you always must have it features. My electric windows on the Aygo+ will keep me cool hopefully.

Noticed the Aygo has gone up in price again. A blue is now £8695. I wonder how long until you have to fork out 7000 of your own english plus that 10 yr old banger for one of the special models.....

Been to the coast this morning, left the Agro at home and took the other one.

Reason being it needed a run so both sunroofs open, Red Hot Chilli Peppers on the stereo and plugged the fridge in,.

Result-got to Bognor, parked on the sea front, opened fridge, nice cold diet coke as I was driving.

Can't stand Diet Coke, has to be the full-sugar Coca Cola or not at all. All the sugar-free drinks give me a headache :)

Just went into town in our Micra - nearly DIED in the heat.

All I can say is THANK JEBUS for the aircon today!

I look forward to A/C - shame the nice weather will have stopped by the end of June... :(

Yes WHY can we not open the passenger window. A friend was out in Aygo couple of weeks ago, had window open, SUDDEN storm, and yes you've got it....Aygo nearly became sinking ship as it was not safe to pull over!

Do you REALLY need to pull over to put the window up?

Well if a copper spots you leaning over and you get a little wobble on I think you could be in trouble,if they take the view that you were not in full control.

Ah................point taken  ...................I was forgetting that the control for the windows are not on the drivers door as in my Yaris.

Answer.........always carry a passenger when it looks like rain :P ;)

I cant even reach without taking the seatbelt off, one mod I would do if I knew wires.

And yep, lovely weather here to am burnt to hell lol going to take hacksaw to Aygo and make convertable Aygo

I would LOVE a convertible Aygo! I've been getting quite a nice tan today, neck feels a bit burnt though ;)

If you know anyone who can do wiring for you; I've posted a schematic

for adding driversside control to the passenger window a while back...

Had it in my car and works like a charm, but I revised my setup by adding

a couple of window-modules from a Citroën Xantia with one-touch controls.

I should have a schematic for that one too somewhere.

I've been tempted to do that, but the thought of cutting and splicing electrical wires doens't appeal tome :( I'm buying the Aygo willing to forgo these luxuries as I want the cheapest possible motoring (with a degree of comfort/luxury/ reliability/lowest possible running costs).

I was rewiring the radio within 24 hours of picking up my car, but

if you're not comfortable with doing this you're right not to do so.

I've allways doen quite some mods on my previous cars: here's a pic

of the innards of my 100NX two days before turning it in at the dealers:

100_0327.JPG

I had to get a LOT of stuff out of there, most of which now resides in my Aygo :D

To hell with that lol, i thought it was bad putting my original vw radio back in.

Posted

I had to remove an Alarm (with remote starting), radio, subwoofer, iPod-interface, carkit, airhorn, KITT-scanner,

digital gauge cluster, trunk popper and a comfort blinker module, plus clean up some extra wiring and fix the

start inhibiter. The pic was taken just after taking the modules out, but before removing the wiring :D

Putting everything IN took me a couple of days, spread over about 3 years, removing was done in an

evening... I even fitted a radio temporarily, so I didn't have to drive the 45mi to the dealer in silence :D
