near where i live in manchester there's a supra parked in a garden just rotting away it looks like its in quite good

nick the owner says hes going to do it up but every time i pass the house its still sat there with weeds growing

around it, it is a shame that such an iconic car be left to rot and die, there should be laws about such things,

if i had the money id nick it, do it up and put it back, it drives me mad. :crybaby:

Loads of it about I'm afraid...

As these cars get cheaper, people buy then "as projects" then realise the parts are expensive, so they sit and rot.

On the plus side it makes the good ones that are in one piece worth more ;)

  • 1 month later...

Myself and a friend managed to get a complete 7m-gte off of eBay for the extorsionate sum of £25!!!!!

I wanted the leather interior and he wanted the engine to rebuild.

Between us we now have a ton of spares which will be picked off as and when we need 'em!!

It is a real shame when you see a car like ours just siiting there unloved. :crybaby:

Agreed it is a shame to see cars like ours rotting away. However, then I think of how the value of the ones that are looked after should stay stronger which can only be a good thing for us caring owners :)

I used to own an ST162 that was in pretty good nick and I hardly ever see one of those on the road now..... MKIII Supra's are definitely going the same way and in a few years time the right person will probably be paying really good money for a good one IMHO.
