Ok.. So, In one day! Today! I've gone out and bought 6 games...

PC:

Dawn of War Anthology (Dawn of War GOTY Edition, Winter Assault Expansion, Dark Crusade Expansion) - £9.99

Dawn of War II - £14.99

PS3:

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit - £14.99

DS Lite:

Pokemon Platinum - £24.99

Haha, Oh dear.. Need to be saving my money for brakes! Bloody games have a hold over me!

It was only today that I played the Dawn of War games because I've been skeptical of them for a while, after trying the (pretty damn long, been playing 3 hours and still not done!) demo of DoW II, I came to the conclusion that cutting up Orks with Chainswords is fun... So I ordered the full game!

I also have a few games on pre-order that are a must have! (in my opinion...)

PS3:

Assassins Creed 2

PC:

Modern Warfare 2

Diablo III

Anybody got any views on ANY of the above mentioned games? Feel free to take the ***** out of me for buying Pokemon games if you like, but if you've never played them.. Play them! They're one of the best RPG style games you'll ever play. So Addictive... Gotta Catch 'em All!

Nice one.

Report back on how good it is.

Well I downloaded the Demo from the PSN the other week, but the demo was so short. and I kinda sucked at it...

Even though I moved the sensitivity to max, the look controls were still stupidly slow. The demo was only like 10 minutes long too.. Booo.

Unlike Dawn Of War II for the PC Demo! That took me over 3 hours to do!

The review guy said that the controls were like that to give it a sense of gravity. Said it would be easy to get used to soon enough.

I like the to have high sensitivity, haha.

Use somewhere in the 7's on Counter-Strike Source. BOOM HEADHSOT! xD

Hah my mates like that. He has COD4 on "insane", and he still sucks. He says that's how pro gamers have it. I say it's because he's a spak.

I kick is whiny butt all over the screen!

Silly people paying for DS games. Get an R4 card from amazon.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the R4 card works on the new DSi. That may just be in Japan, but I'm not entirely certain.

Assassin's Creed II will be good - I've seen the trailers and gameplay footage from E3, and I'm impressed. The first AC was good, but had many annoying flaws. Hopefully AC II improves upon these.

Modern Warfare 2 - I'm not sure it'll be any better than Modern Warfare or World at War, it looks exactly the same graphics and gameplay wise - although with the addition of drivable vehicles in the single player obviously (as opposed to CoD4 which didn't have any). I may wait before buying it.

NO, dont get an R4, thay are out of date, all clones as the original company shut down and the firmware struggles with new games

You need a dstt.

As for all the games bought some good choices and yes Pokeyermum FTW!

Agreed. You've now officially lost the right to use the "I can't afford it" excuse for Pod trips now!

Btw, has DIII got a release date yet? I checked about a week ago and there was nothing confirmed. :(

While my R4 is a clone its a clone that is still updated firmware style.

I dont see the point in the DSi tbh due to the fact i wont be able to Guitar Hero on it.

Marc - No, No release date for DIII yet.

And I can't afford Pod. Who said I put the money towards all the games? :P

Pod way outweights that anyway. £45 petrol there, £25 for strip £10 Entry each, Money for food, £40 in tank on way back.

Slightly more expensive :P
