Hello.

I've got a problem with the radio and trip computer display in my 2000 (W reg) Previa. The display appears blank, but is actually flickering on/off. This is more apparent in the dark with the lights on, as the display is then back-lit. There's no audio output, but the rest of the switches/lights on the centre console are working ok (fan, A/C, etc.). The fuse for the radio is ok. The car has recently been in the garage because the engine warning light came on (lambda sensor/Cat problem), so the Battery has been disconnected.

Has anyone else had this problem, or does anybody have any suggestions as to the cause and how to fix?

Many thanks,

A brief update on this problem.

Re-checked and re-seated any fuses that I thought might affect the display or anything on the centre console. Display still blank and flickering/flashing once a second.

As a last resort, I disconnected the Battery (both terminals) and left it for 24 hours. Reconnected the Battery and the display is now working :D

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
