Hello and welcome to TOC

I assume that your Yaris is the 1.0 litre 3 cylinder engine.

The answer to your question should be found in the owners manual supplied with the car.

If you are unsure then why not pay a visit to your local Toyota dealers parts counter?

Failing that your local parts shop or Halfords should be able to advise from their applicability charts.

Spark plugs are not normally changed before 40,000 miles on the Yaris..............how many have you done in your 2007 model?

Hi Thankyou.. only owned the car 3 weeks and i love it :)

Was looking at trying to improve performance and although the car has only 17,000 miles on the clock i've heard getting upgraded spark plugs like iriduim will improve performance, i just can't seem to find any.

Fitting Iridium plugs will do absolutely nothing for any performance gains.

They are usually all Iridium plugs as standard now on most cars as they last longer..(well they do on bikes anyway).

For more power you are looking at changing the exhaust system, changing the cams, have some head work done and a free flow filter, maybe the ECU re-mapped aswell.

Won't be cheap though!
