Haynes manual doesn't help on finding the radiator and engine drain plugs. Can anyone tell me where they are on the 7A-FE engine?

The drain plug on the radiator is at the bottom offside corner.

The engine block drain bolt is on the front facing side of the block. It is roughly the same height as the oil filter and is between the filter and the exhaust manifold.

To remove this bolt you MUST use a 14mm six sided socket. The type that applies force to the flats. If you use a standard socket you will round this bolt.

Thanks, but I'm still having trouble. Am I just being stupid, or is the radiator plug somewhere I can't see? Do you have to get to it from underneath?

Let me see... It must be on the front, back, or bottom of the radiator, right? All I can see on the front are things that look like they hold the rad in place, but looks like I'd have to take half the front of the car off to get to them; on the back the two cooling fans are in the way of seeing anything.

To find the drain plug for the radiator, stand at the front of the vehicle and follow the left hand side of the radiator all the way to the bottom left hand corner now follow along from left to right, about two inch and you should feel a wing nut it's plastic that's the drain plug for the radiator.

And as far as i am aware the 7AFE engine does'nt have an engine drain plug not that i've found anyway.

If you still can't find the rad plug try taking the bottom splash guard off you should be able to see it then.

:D Happy days.

Had a look today whilst I was changing the oil, and found it easily enough. Thanks.
