Do you notice a different in sound quality, like if the sound is more crisp and clear etc?

From mods iv done to other cars (a corsa and a galaxy) - it seems very dependant on whats alreayd fitted...for example, the ford galaxy bennefited better from new Speakers - whereas the corsa bennefited most from a new head unit - as the Speakers already fitted were ok!

Hi, they are Pioneer TS-G1002i and are 100mm.

Spec;

2 way, coaxial speaker with Pioneer tweeter in centre

IMPP cone

120W max power

25W nominal input power

Frequency range: 35 to 30,000Hz

Sensitivity: 87dB

There isn't a massive improvement in sound, but they don't distort at high volumes which is why I bought them because the old ones used to rattle. I wasn't expecting a huge difference in sound tbh anyway, they're only tiny :)

Hi Tony

Want to ask about your Speakers again :P.

Where did you get them and how much for?

Im currently deciding on a pioneer headunit and considering matching the Speakers with pioneer ones as well :)

Thanks

Howdy :)

I bought them from eBay, they were £19 for the pair and I think it was £6 for delivery. Soo, not all that pricy. And I will now also say that there IS a difference in sound. A couple of my mates said it sounded more bassy, and they didn't know that i had even changed the Speakers :)

Can anyone tell me the difference between 2-way and 3-way Speakers?

Thanks

2 way Speakers have a tweeter for the high frequencies and a cone speaker that does bass and mid frequencies.

3 way have 3 seperate Speakers for each high, mid and bass.

3 way are better for sound seperation, but component Speakers are better again as these are 3 seperate speakers

for high, mid and bass that are fed seperate frequencies via a filter.

Component speakers would need custom fitting in an Aygo though.

AFAIK

Hope this was helpful.
