Does anyone know if the Yaris is Galvanised?

I read on one web site that it was but would like it confirmed

Yes, key panels on the yaris are galvanised.

mines a 51 reg and its rustin cuz sum fool revesed in2 a post and scraped the bumper and paintwork (damn sister!)

all the steel for the outer panels and floor will have a Galvanized coating its on before the steel is pressed it will then have a phospheretic (think thats how its spelled) coating under the primer and top coat. all this means that as long as you dont remove the coatings by scratching, chips, accident damage etc then your yaris, or any other new toyota for that matter should never be affected by that orange metal moth
