I think they look a bit crap to be honest and take the classy MR2 into Chav territory :unsure:

I think they have an adverse effect on performance, unless you block it up or put an air filer inside it. The MR2's designed to take air from underneath the car...

I've got both and I'm happy .. but then when I park my car next to a stock MR2, Mine looks like it's on steriods ..

i do hate toms scoops, they look like some weird 70's sci-fi spaceship. :unsure:

if anyones been to sheffield and seen the crappy national centre for pop music (which is now shut down) and look at the 'revolutionary' (the designers words, not mine) air intake on the ceiling - very similar, and equally ugly!

Unless it's utilised with a cold air box it is purely for looks....then it's a mater of personal opinion. I like it looks wise :)
