Lights Not Coming On!

Recommended Posts

I have just picked up a new (to us) Aygo. It is the VVi so is basic to say the least.

It will do us proud as it is but I would like to add switches to the doors, which will also make an alarm easier. Does anyone know if the loom is in place and is it likely to be complete? IE will I need to add fuses or is it just missing the switches?

I am assuming it is just missing the switches but don't want to remove the stickers that are over the holes until I have the switches.

B) I realise I can add a scan gauge but is there any other way to add a temp gauge?

Many thanks for any help.

Wiring isn't in place for additional light switches, need to splice into existing wiring for drivers side door switch. The alternative to a scangauge for reading temperature is to fit an aftermarket temp gauge which will require you plumb in a temperature sender into the existing cooling hoses. Scangauge is much easier.

Great stuff. Not a major problem as I instal alarms etc for a living. Would have been easier though never mind. Scan Gauge it is then!!

Are there any great cheap sites about for spares? There are many about but which are the good ones?

Haven't had the need to look yet, but Euro Car Parts have some parts for the Citroen C1 which is basically the same car. There is also a peugeot online parts shop which has items like the rev counter for a good price.

Also give kingo a shout here on the forum, he may be able to help.
