Hello everyone.

I'm a first time owner of a Toyota, I bought my Aygo new in November 2007. I really love it and I also really love the service in general I've had from Toyota. In fact, that's why I came here, to find an address for the magazine so I can write and give credit where credit's due!

I was recently driven into by the driver of a van. I was stationary, waiting to turn right off a side road onto the main road. He cut the corner so badly he drove into my nearside/front. I had been made redundant recently and was about 13 weeks' pregnant at the time so all in all not what I needed. This was in March. My insurance company is still faffing about and my poor Aygo still needs a new bumper and number plate.

I rang Charles Clark Toyota in Wolverhampton to see about getting a quote for the repairs. The after sales manager there saw me just an hour after the call. Took about 5 minutes of my time.

I've just had the renewal notice for my insurance. I was not at all happy with the cost. Last year it had cost me £360. This year they were charging me £576 - I paid that in my second year of driving! Given my lack of job and impending offspring, paying it was not an option. I thought I'd have to SORN my car. I couldn't see any real reason for the increase, only perhaps my lack of employment and ongoing accident claim (which they should be sorting!). I tried all the price comparison sites, best I could get was £400 with a £700 excess!

As I was fretting my partner suggested I try Toyota's insurance. I got a quote for £344. I breathed a sigh of relief. I don't yet know if the insurance is any good, but I have to have it, the price is a lot better than anything else I can get right now and it means I don't have to SORN my car :)

All in all I've had a great experience with Toyota and would just like to thank someone!

Hope you're all enjoying your cars too.
