Avensis Verso Front Brake Discs And Pads

I am having trouble sourcing correct parts for my August 2002 Toyota Avensis verso.

I need front discs and pads.

My registration number makes the car a diesel model but it's a 2.0 VVTi GS auto model.

The chassis number JTEGH22B905005830 calls it correct as a petrol.

Toyota won't give me out the part numbers and are quoting £175 just for parts.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct Toyota parts numbers so I can be sure to get

the correct parts from another supplier at a better price.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Ken

I'd also like to add my thanks; after buying some brake discs off eBay and being sent the wrong ones (despite the company saying they were the ones listed for my Avensis), that site helped sort the problem. Shiny new discs and pads now fitted and working perfectly!

Thanks again, Igor!

Hi, I bought front and rear brake pads for my 2003 2.0 GLS from Unipart for about £50 the lot. Fitted perfectly and done in about 20 minutes per end - one of the easiest DIY fits on any car. The original Toyota pads were were very hard and were creating many grooves on the disks causing shimmy on braking. Toyota said they needed replacing, iut the new pads (which are softer) have taken the disks back to flat and no more shimmy. They have lasted about 15K so far (better braking) and down about 60%; lots of black dust though.

My local garage near Portsmouth (an independant Ford garage?!) charged me just £140 in vat and fitting for front discs and pads on my 2.2D 08 plate Tourer.
