Just spoke to my Toyota Dealer regarding the new Prius and it has been confirmed that we will not get the adaptive cruise control (which I believe is on the current Avensis), lane assist, automatic dipping rear view mirror or door mirror retract button. I am fed up with coming second fiddle to America and Japan with the options. We pay top dollar for our cars (check to see how much a new T-Spirit will be in America compared to the UK prices that have been released) and yet we get miles less options on our cars. Just to confirm this please check out this website and see what you can get for your current Prius in America and they are Japanese domestic genuine parts!

I wish my Avensis had Adaptive Cruise Control.... I know how well the system works as a new Primera I bought 7 years ago had it fitted as standard.... yes 7 years ago
