I have a central locking motor and window regulator that need replacing. My local toyota garage (which is a seat garage but they used to be toyota) want £400 inc parts and labour to do the work. I've just had over £1000 of work done on the car, i have a new born and a wife that is taking home next to nothing in maternity pay. i cant afford another £400.

i figured i can get the parts (both) for £150 ish and fit them myself as they both go in the door. I'm not adverse to tinkering but removal instructions before i buy so i can assess the ease of replacement would be very handy.

anyone know how its done and the ease and what tools i might need?

thanks

Car spec is in the avatar but its a Corolla Verso T-spirit 2.0 desiel on a 54 plate.
