hey guys. Driving home the other day and i noticed a blast of mist from mu dump valve eveytime i let off. Looked as cool as. B) But when i pulled over i found it to be oil that was coming out of the dump valve, not so cool. :crybaby: Engine sounds sweet and runs fine, turbo boost is a little lower than it should be and then there is the oil. Does it sound like the turbo to anyone else. Car is a St205 Gt4 with standard chargecooler, hybid turbo, dlink ecu, greddy boost controller. set up is running .9 bar of boost. Thanks

are you running standard internals? this happend to be and it turned out to be a broke piston and the oil was coming out the dump valve.

I would get a pressure test done on your car.

yep thinking the same. you say the car runs fine, have you noticed a slightly off beat sound on idle? bit like a scoobie?

if so then the ringlands have gone south, probably on number 3 piston.

best to get a leakdown test as a compression test dosnt always show it up.

Not that i have noticed, no pressure under the oil cap either. No smoke from exhaust. No oil from dump valve when the engine is idling or when boosting, only when coming off boost. How do i test the pressure? will try a comp test now in a bit. Cheers mate
