Independent Servicing In Ipswich Area

My two year old Auris is now due another service and i am considering the non dealer route (using Toyota oils/parts etc)

Anybody know of anyone decent in the Ipswich area that they can recommend - a specialist would be nice!

Also just replaced Continental front tyres after 15000 miles - bit disappointed with wear rate but we do mostly town/short journeys

Also replaced my Nissan Micra with a 5 year old Mk5 Golf - have to say I prefer Golf to Auris! I have heard people criticise Mk5 interior quality but it seems pretty good compared to the Auris but then I have crticised the Auris interior qualty from day one.

Not an independant, but I always get my car serviced at Dingles in Lowestoft. Always been very pleased with the dealership, and much cheaper than the alternatives around the London area. I know it's 45 miles away, down the worst A road in the land, but might be worth considering. Also a Dingles in Norwich and Attleborough, but not had firsthand experiance of those.

I've used Dingles Norwich for nearly all my services since getting my Verso about five yaers ago, and I'll continue to use them when I pick up my new Auris 180 this weekend (hopefully!).

They've always been reliable and honest with me.

Main dealer servicing isn't the cheapest way to get a service of course, but you know they've got the right kit and experience to do the job properly. Plus, most of them will "go the extra mile" to help you with any problems you might have.

(No, I don't work for 'em :D )
