Hi all,

Ive got a 190 and I love it dearly haha.

Just looking for a bit of advice really, my pads and discs are needing changed and Im wondering if you guys or gals can recommend any specific brands? or would I be better buying a full brake kit? If so, im not looking for top of the range but something mid range.

Secondly, Im looking to upgrade the alloys asap, im think of going down the black 5 spoke route, any suggestions?

I know the standard alloys are 16's im wondering if I stick 17s on, will it raise the height of the car?

Regards

Hi Craigie190

A lot of Gen 7 Celica owners have fitted EBC Discs combined with EBC Redstuff Pads and have been very, very satisfied with them

There are a few websites offerering them for a decent price with free delivery

I'll be adding a full set of EBC pads and discs to my GT in November

When changing from 16" to 17", it's the Tyre profile that determines the Wheel Arch gap. The correct size on 17" Rims is 205/45/17. Five spokes look mint on a Gen 7, I have MAK Matrix Mirror fitted, but they aren't cheap so budget on around £800 with quality Tyres.

Other Disc/Pad recommendations besides EBC inc. Black Diamond and Red Dot, you'll need 275mm front Discs for your 190.
