Central Locking And Keys?

Hi,

I have central locking on my yaris gs and open/close by use of a key in the door (obviously!)

Is it possible to get hold of a remote key fob (ebay) and reprogramme to use on this car or is there no wireless device in the car to unlock the doors :o

there is no kit to convert. the system on your vehicle would need an antenna and reciever unit to pick up the signal for the key to open the car and a Remote central locking key would need to be purchased. very costly items to buy. but your vehicle cannot be converted.

An alternative would be to have an alarm system fitted which has a central locking interface, we had one on our very first yaris which was a 2000 GS. I can't for the life in me remember the make of alarm but most decent alarms have this feature.
