has anyone on here swapped out the factory stereo for a custom one, if so whats involved and do you lose the functionality of the stearing wheel controls, a nice double din toucj screen would go well in place of the factory unit,

any ideas greatly recieved

found one small thread on the subject, located the eBay listing for the trim piece to fit a double din also the converter cable.

I am also thinking of doing this as i have a Kenwood double DIN 7" touch screen, Kenwood 60gb Keg and bluetooth car add on which i would like to fit! My main concern is the finish on the surround kits, i really will only consider doing it if the surround kit facia panels thing is the same silver colour as the dash.

The one on eBay does not have any good pictures to see what the finish is, you found any good pics of the kit?

got to be honest ive had to search for japanese web sites using google translate to get any modifying info as this site really doesnt seem to go that way, found a few decent pics from the sites and blogs ive been on and some nice cars as well, shame they lack the power to match the looks really, ill get some pics up but its late ,
