Toyota Mr2 Engine In Toyota Carina Ii

I am just wondering whether it is possible to fit a Toyota MR2 engine into a Toyota Carina. I think the clutch hasn't got long left in the Carina I have and I would rather put a replacement engine that is better performance than the 1.6L 4-AF engine I have now. Is it possible to mount any type of MR2 engine into a Carina II car. It would be best if the 2.0l turbo one would fit because it would be great to out pace a few chavs in the most unlikely car. :D

yes it will fit although you will need the engine mounts from the 2.0 carina with the 3S-GE engine. you will also need to swap the ancilliaries from a GT4 as well as some wiring modifications.
