A Bit Rough When Cold

Hi all,

Ive just bought my wife a 2008 Aygo+ with 5k on the clock.

She loves the car, but Im not so sure....feels a bit too cheap in some areas I think. Although I have to say, its a keen little car, quite happy to sit at 70 all day.

Anyway, I also think it sounds a bit rough when cold - tickover is slow and the exhaust sounds a little bit as if its blowing.

Once the cars warmed up, everything is absolutely fine.

Does anyone else experience this? Does your car sound rougher when cold?

Id be interested to find out more before having to take it in to Mr T for diagnosis!!

Doesn't sound right to me, should be smooth from cold start.

I had the same and thought it was the manifold gasket, mentioned it at

my last service and they ended up replacing the backbox! The internal

baffles for a certain series of them seem to be prone to failure...
