Aygo - Steering Controls

Can anyone tell me if there is an Aygo model available that has steering controls for the radio and a generally nicer interior (leather steering etc).

The Aygo Platinum model has leather interior, but to my knowledge, there is no steering controls for the radio available from Toyota, but there is an image of an Aygo on my107.blogspot.com that shows steering controls for the stereo. I think this an aftermarket system.

Not sure, but that MIGHT be my system:

It's basically a Kenwood IR remote, designed to stick behind the spokes of the steering wheel,

but I soon found that this isn't really ideal, since you really need to have the wheel straight

for this to work. So I made a little pedestal for the remote and mounted that within reach.

And since the remote is Kenwood, so is my Radio; the OEM system is not equipped for a remote.

No, there was some pictures of a black Aygo, and one of the interior shots shows a stalk for controlling the stereo (pretty sure I wasn't halucinating...). My internet connection at home is very bad at the moment, so I'll have a look when it gets fixed abd try to post up a link.

That's no stereo-controller, but a CM-25 controller for a John Gold Cruise Control with 3 speed-memories.

Yes, thats the one. It looks very similar to a stereo controller I spotted in a ICE book so assumed that thats what it was for. Apologies for the confusion. Must try to find that book at home.

Sony used to have a so called "Safety Commander" available, not sure if they still do...
