St202 Replacement Throttle Body

Hi all,

I am wondering if anybody knows if there is a replacement throttle body thats would give more power than the standard for the 3gse engine.

Or should I just be happy with what Ive got.

I dont have quad port money but I have heard of motor cycle throttle parts.....I know... wierd but would it work.... and if so how....

Any feedback....(helpfull) would be welcome...

what other mods do you have? a larger throttle body will most likely need a mappabel ecu due to the increased flow.

Hi There, I have a K&N 57i, a Decat exhaust, Peco Sport Back Box. Bosch Super 4 plugs. I am trying to find an alternative for more poke instead of cams.

If I could find an alternitive I would also polish & port the head. Just the polish & port should see an extra 15+ish Bhp. This is a mod that could be done at home over the weekends. Should keep the cost down.

The 1998 ECU (acording to Dastek) is not remappable so you have to live with what you have unless you pay £495. I dont see the point in paying that sort of money without the promise of more than 5bhp. It would be a piggy back unit. They said the max increase could be 15bhp. Might aswell spend my money on the polish & port. This is guarenteed to increase without the extra strain on the engine.
