What Should I Save For Next?

Hi all,

I can't decide what to save up for next. I can either save for the Ksport coilovers, or a new brake system.

The brake system will cost £850-900 for new BD combi discs at the front and back (Late-Spec) BD stainless steel brake-line-kit and reconditioned calipers front and back, yet again for the late spec car.

The coilovers are £600, so it's a lot less but I'd have to save for ages because I can buy only certain parts of the Brakes System if I want to, but I have to buy the Coilovers as one bulk object if you know what I mean.

So basically, it's a matter of pacience. I can either save for ages and get coilovers, or save for short amounts of time and acquire the Brakes System bit by bit.

What should I do? I can't make up my mind.

Coilovers

Whats left to do on the body?

Near side rear arch needs plating. So does the off side front arch.

Inner struts need cutting and plating. Sunroof needs replacing. few bits here and there.

Rear of the side skirts need plating on both sides.

It won't cost much at all, so I don't count it in as a purchase. Sheet metal, filler and primer. Peanuts mate. But I'm doing it as I go along ;)

So. Which one?

Peanuts for the bits, what about the skill of sticking it all on and making it look good?

I did that stuff every day for two weeks on work experience. It was intense because it was on a fibreglas scimitar, which have holes all over!

I think that I have enough skill to do it ;) but only just....

My opinion is still to sort the body and paint before spending on anything else ;)

I've invited my mate round for a week to help me get the body sorted. He did the W.E. with me. We were really good as a team so It'll be done soon. And you are right, the bodywork should be my main focus. ;)
