I have had a discussion with a couple of people.. and the plan is that EVERYONE attending JAE this year should bring a space hopper.. as well as a few fun games, we can have fun just bouncing around the site..

Game possiblities..

Long jump

high jump

sprint

Space Hopper jousting

drinking games (looser takes shots)

We will be working on more games we can play... should be a good laugh.

As far as buying space hoppers go.. we will ee if we can get a good discount on a group buy.. but singly they can be bought for 5 - 10 quid for a 24" adult one.

If you are up for this.. please post up.. if your not, you'll be missing out lol

Oh yeah, we will be in agony by the end of the weekend but for those who try and watch their weight, it'll but off the alcohol from the weekend :P

Just think if we can get 10 of us at least bouncing down the road

I'm up for the space hopper!! :Jumpy:

But the law says I cannot drink....

Not sure on the law when it is on private property and provided by your parent

But either way it is down to your parent and yourself really. We would never pressure you into drinking......................fancy a beer?

Posted (edited)

Trust me if I find a can legally do it on site I'm there and doing it. :D

Shall bring some beer for everyone anyway. ;)

I am not a complete fool. Some bits are missing...

And nor is it suitable language for a family forum...

It's what the Supporter's section is for ;)

Sounds like a force to be reckoned with to me!

Just realised, you're northern, and I am from Lancashire (half). You of all people should understand the driving need to swear! :P

ANYWAY,

The space hopper idea sounds great - not sure if I've ever ridden one before! :D (I know, deprived childhood....)

If someone gets some, or other chilhood toys (scooters? skateboards? other childhood transports?) that would be great too!

I know scooters and skateboards won't work well on grass - but after a small ammount of scrumpy (for medicinal purposes you understand!) who cares!!:beer:

I haven't used them before except once when I was a very young kid, but I spent most of the time with my face in the wall when I lost control.

This is going to be a very interesting event....:lol: Bring bandages.

I haven't used "them" since I was a teenager

I also spent time with my face in a wall when I lost control, I also vaguely remember that it was more to do with alcohol than space hoppers though

We won't need bandages... the injuries will be too severe for them to be of any use, but not to worry, it's not like it's a kerbed wheel or anything else really serious, we'll be fine ;)
