Cruise Control

I fitted an aftermarket Cruise Control to my RAV4 a while back and before I sold the RAV4 back in May, I took it off and it is now for sale to fellow TOC members

My RAV4 was a 2005 RAV4 (4.2), but the exact same kit can be fitted to a number of Toyotas - listed below:

• Avensis 2003 > GCT230
• Avensis Verso 2003 > GCT230
• Camry 2001 > GCT230
• Corolla 2002 > GCT230
• Hi-lux 2001 - 2005 GCT230
• Hi-ace 2002 - 2005 GCT230
• RAV4 2004 - 2005 GCT230

If you have a car that is not listed, or even (god forbid!) not a Toyota, then you can still use most of the kit, but just need to get a different car-specific module for your car - cost is around £37.50 I think

The complete kit is for sale, with everything I installed removed from the RAV4, including an extra make/break switch for the clutch pedal (supplied by same provider of the whole kit) which allows the cruise control to be fitted to a Manual car just the same as an Automatic (some people think Cruise Control is only for Automatics- that is DEFINITELY not the case!! ) - so you need nothing extra to buy to fit in any of the cars listed, just a free couple of hours to fit and a basic level of ability and simple tools.

This kit is much better then the OEM Cruise Control and I am still missing the extra features on it 6 months on after changing to another car that came with 'normal' cruise control.

Now the important thing ....

This kit is the top level of kit from GoldCruise and cost me £425 about 2 years ago and I am looking for £250 for the complete kit.

It really is simple to install, but if someone wants me to install it for them and is fairly local, then I am happy to do that for an extra £50
