Toyota has modded the water pump on the AYGO a few times, the latest mod has a new pulley and a thicker aluminum body, this allows for a thicker seal to hopefully prevent future problems .

My waterpump was replaced with the Mk2 (pressed steel) version last year.

Saw your post and thought "I'll have a look at the wife's Aygo"

Sure enough, same as mine, covered in pink water.

Booked in with no problems for warranty replacement next monday.
