5 Star Contributor

Maybe I've missed something but the label of 5 Star Contributor has appeared on several moderators profiles.

Undoubtedly most of them contribute 5 star quality posts, so I have no (aye right) problem with that.

I do wonder about the use of gold stars though - the cost of gold just now is at an all time high and at this time of national austerity, how can we afford to buy gold stars?

Or is this why the membership fee has been RAISED by more than the inflation rate????

Where's Raistlin and Hou when you need them???

We are trialing a new contribution system so that members who contribute can earn stars, eg. Workshop how to guides, help with meets etc

We know there are many who have contributed over the years and we will try and distribute some stars soon.

Mods have been given stars for recognition of their work over the years :)

It is ok, they aren't actually real gold stars. Turns out they are chocolate xmas tree decorations that have passed their sell by date, that they got from a leading supermarket (better not advertise :P) after xmas reduced! They cost £0.37 for a box of 50!!
