Avensis T27 Radio Bluetooth

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so bear with me.

I currently have a 2011 T27 with the standard Stereo(W53828).

I have seen some versions with bluetooth fitted as standard (factory fit), with the button on the steering wheel.

I was wondering if anyone has fitted a factory standard bluetooth kit to this stereo, or is it even possible?

Will i require a microphone etc... or is the car prewired for all the extra gear.

I have been out of the stereo repair trade for awhile so am at a bit of a loss.

Hope ye can help, it will be appreciated.

Mike

A combination of adapters may be a solution. I fitted this Kinivo unit as a bolt-on to a Grom unit. Just the Kinivo if you already have a AUX input on your head unit.

  • 1 year later...

A year and a half late but the unit does have bluetooth, just the way to get it working is so confusing. I just bought a T27 TR and spent about hour getting the thing to work, using the manual. I managed to get both my mobiles a Samsung SG3 and a Nokia Lumia 625 to register and connect.

The original poster may have had it sorted by now.
