Avensis Mk2 T25 & Facelift Rear Light Cluster

I like the look better of the facelift rear light clusters (the facelift has silver rings)- does anyone know if these are a straight swap.

I have a 2004 and would like the lights of a 2006+ model (facelift)

Hi Im.

The shape is the same. The problem is the wiring connector to the bulbs. Obviously I don't have your model, but if a member has a facelift T25, they could take a photo of the connector and wiring to the bulb holder.Then you can compare with yours.

I'm going to learn the hard way, I got them at a cheap price if they do not fit. I'll put them back up for sale.

You could probably change yours too.

Hi Konrad, They fit like a glove, The bulb holders where the electrical connectors go had the same part number- so they are 'straight swap' no modifications.

To be honest I found it easier/less awkward to change the whole rear cluster than a rear bulb which has been a pain in the a** in the past.

That's great news Im.

I know that the phase two mk1 lights will fit, but I like the original. I was going to tell you to make sure it is the same type (hatch/saloon/estate) as your car, but I knew you made sure.

Too bad you can't change the fronts as easily. I think the bonnet bumper profile is slightly different. I could be wrong.

Yes I did make sure, Yes the estates are totally different not sure if the saloon are the same as they look similar,

Yes the front bumper is different, I have already looked into that one.
