Hi "I".

I tried searching for bulbs. Had the same issue for the Harzard warning switchand Toyota charge £5 each!

Done some searching and found the following:

http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/standard-dashboard-and-panel-bulbs-for-cars/

http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/R509TFBK12-F4.8-Panel-Bulb-12V-1.2W-Black.html

There may be other sites, so use this info to find a reliable source.

eBay do T3 LED versions and may have the colour you need.

R509TFBK or R509TFGY is what they are called. There are two voltages 12v and 14v. The difference between the BK and GY suffix is the colour of the base.

Still not sourced the colour versions.

Does the colour caps come off the bulbs?

If they do it would be an easy swap to the new bulbs.

The catalogues may not be up to date or detailed for specific makes/models.

Glad I could help.

I can't believe they are that hard to find it's a prettty generic bulb that has many applications in various makes and models.

I keep a tool tray with old bolts, nut, relays, bulbs n allsorts from cars that may one day be handy who knows.

I replaced several of the heater control panel bulbs in my old 1.8GS with odds n sods bulbs i'd picked up, they came out of the instrument display panel of a Cavalier or a Primera or possibly an Audi 80 coupe i'd. robbed of it's oil temp, pressure and volt meter.

Point is if your having trouble locating them and you don't mind an afternoons hunting you'd find replacements from another toyota or nissan probably down at a breakers yard. Obviously you can't test if they work or not but if they're black don't take them and if you can find 5 or 10 then you're bound to have some that will work :)
