I was not happy with the inconsistent feel of the brakes, plus the low pads and condition of the discs.

I went to my local spares shop gave my reg number - 58 plate, got the parts and went to my mates garage.

When the brakes were dismantled, we discovered the parts were wrong. They were for the Mk2 T25, as the discs were smaller and a different design. The garage had the Apec catalogue and compared my disc and pads to get the correct part numbers. With that info we went back to the shop and got correct Apec part.

They look quality parts and even better than the wrong parts we returned.

The disc has a coating in the none contact areas.

All fit and bedding in. The rears are in reasonable condition compared to the old fronts, so will leave them until later.

The real issue is that my car is a '58 plate, registered January 2009, and the shop entered the reg number and got a 2008 T25! I never had that issue before, so will get all the part numbers beforehand and speak with my garage.
