Newbie, corolla T-sport worrying noise!

I'm glad to be back in the Toyota, club. Had a celiac GT-four over ten years ago and this is my first visit back!

needed a cheap car and purchased  a 2002 t sport for £500, full leather and built in sat nav. Very nice cleaning looking example with a lot of history 120k on the clock but pulls like a train...

however last few times I've been on cam lift im getting an odd noise,  no loss of power or engine warning light etc.

the noise basically sounds like the noise your car would make driving over gravel at high speed, it still makes the sound about a minute after cam lift and then stops. Only got the car today and heard the noise twice now,  any ideas!?
