2007 RAV4 key programming

Can anyone tell me the correct procedure to program a spare key, i have found different procedures, surely they can not all be correct.

There are a variety of key programming procedures that one can find on the internet which may or may not work, depending on the model. I'ved had a look through the Rav4 guides, and there hasn't been one posted for the Rav4. There is a guide whicgh shows three methods - 

- one of which may work for you, or may not.

To program the immobiliser function, it depends which chip you have in your keys. Mine cannot be programmed with the hokey-cokey method - I had to use the Toyota Techstream software.

The hokey-cokey worked for the remote entry function.
