I prefer API SP or better yet Dexos 1 gen 2/3/D or Longlife type engine oil 0W-20 such as BMWLL14, VW508/509, etc. Those european certified engine oil 0W-20 have higher standard than API SP or ILSAC 6A. Toyota genuin oil is only API SN, which is not as good as API SP or Dexos 1 or 508/509. Most of these oil has very low pouring temperature < -50 C, a unique features of high quality group III or group IV (PAO) oil. ATF is preferable genuine Toyota WS, which is actually very similar to DEXRON VI. Aisin ATF6+ is an example that fit many vehicles that use Dexron VI, WS, etc. Coolant, always genuine Toyota coolant Super Long Life SLLC (phosphated base). Most european cars use silicate base HOAT and should not be mixed with SLLC. Other coolant from other Asian Cars are usually also phospated base HOAT like Toyota, but the colors are usually blue. Brake fluid anything from DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1 . Toyota genuine brake fluid is almost the same price as other brands. I prefer Toyota DOT 5.
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
