Engine Idle

Hello everyone, picked up my T Sport today, Black 2003 Phase 1, just under 29k miles (part-ex my FTO GPX for it as I have recently moved to London and gifrlfriend isnt very comfortable with driving & parking it so had to give it up) and was wondering if someone can give me an idea of what the engine should idle at when at standstill? Dont know if its just me, but it feels too high? It idles at anything between 500-700ish at the moment...any help would be great! Loving the car, parents already have a Yaris GS, cant believe the difference the T Sport is compared to it (although not like the FTO!)

When it’s fully warmed up and idling at 600/700 the engine is very quiet from the outside. I have trouble hearing it.

mines really noisey actually

mines a 1.3, but idles at anything between 500 to 700 rpm, but does sound quite unrefined.

Apexi sucking, exhaust thrumming, breather hose blowing.... mine's not quiet either!
