Connecting An External Source To The Radio?

Is it possible to connect an external sound source (like a mp3 player) to the stock radio in the Yaris (1st gen)?

Yep - you just plug it in where your headphones would go.

Or for cheaper but not so good quality you could go for a wire FM modulator or a wireless one where you just set the radio to the right frequency and then it broadcasts your mp3 etc down that signal. Not the BEST quality but can be suitable for most medium to low volume applications (which is about right for the standard system anyway as any more volume and distorts anyway!) But yeah the wireless transmitters have just become legal recently aswell (so ignore old posts saying they are illegal!)

I found the Connects2-thingy on a swedish site but they want ~$130 for it!

Yes, they do cost about that much but they are the "fix it all" solution that is guaranteed to work. Honest.
