The easy way to connect your iPod is with a FM transmitter such as the iTrip (http://www.itripstore.co.uk/category/311/ipod_itrips_fm_transmitters.htm). Just do 'ipod fm transmitter' in Google. The one I have plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and hold my iPod in a convenient position to change the tracks etc. It transmits the signal to the radio on any unused station position.

If you are driving across the country, you might have to change channels if you get into the range of a strong local radio station but apart from that, it is a cheap and tidy way to get an iPod working in your car.

bananarav4,

If you do a search on this forum you will find a topic regarding the ipod clicky

if you read past all the trains and other off topic stuff you will find some details on what's needed...

Bananarav,

Welcome to the club, there are a lot of I pod adaptors on the market and on here if you do a search

you will get different peoples opinions.

Re the bars or steps, if you scroll down a bit, and do it quickly, you may still be lucky enough to get a

bargain from a member called Partsking. He works for a Toyota dealer and gets discounts for club

members. He currently has a couple of pairs of bars and steps with a good discount.

Good luck, and enjoy your Rav. Remember to post a photo on the photos thread when you get time.

Dave

Welcome bananarav4 to the RAV4 section of the club, best bet with wheels is to look out for a set of standard RAV4 alloys off eBay, that way you'll know they will be the correct fit :)
